QUEENSLAND

The Queensland E-Mobility Rebate Scheme offers rebates to reduce the upfront cost of purchasing a new eligible e-bicycle, encouraging the uptake of safe e-mobility devices as a more active and sustainable mode of transport.


UPDATE: The E-Mobility Rebate Scheme closed to new applications on 25 October 2024 as scheme funds have been fully allocated.


SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Adelaide has introduced subsidies for the purchase of eBikes for commuting purposes, covering 20% of out-of-pocket expenses, up to $1,000. Learn more about the program here.

The City of Holdfast Bay offers rebates on several products that help our community live a greener, healthier lifestyle, including $200 for E-bikes. Learn more here. 


City of West Torrens: Climate Resilient Living Rebate: up to $400 for e-bikes/e-cargo bikes (commuting). The 2024/25 round ran to 30 Jun 2025 and is now closed. Check their page for any 2025/26 relaunch.

City of Onkaparinga: Sustainability Rebates now include an e-bike rebate up to $200.

TASMANIA

The final round of Tasmania e-Mobility rebates for eBikes, cargo e-bikes, e-scooters and e-skateboards has now closed, as the funding has been fully allocated.
