Street Drive Gears

I noticed my belts felt a bit off, so I went to adjust the motor plates and tighten the belt tension. That's when I discovered my old drive gears were completely worn down and needed replacement.

These Street Drive Gears did exactly what I needed them to do and got me back on the road. Installation was straightforward, and the board felt great again once everything was set up.

One thing to note: these gears do not come with bearings, so make sure to order a set before installing them. Fortunately, I already had some spare bearings on hand, but it could easily delay your repair if you're not prepared.

I recently bought some ABEC 11’s from the Evolve store… this was before I got my Diablo which is amazing by the way, so I put those wheels and the pulleys on another board, and they work quite well… I still have to break in the 11’s but so far so good!

Maintenance time on my GTR the drive gears and belts are so easy a simple to replace I was up and running in less the 5 mins.

when shopping for a new esk8, people need to think of BALANCE. no not actual physical balance. i mean a right amount or attribute without compromising elsewhere. evolve has the perfect amount of range, power, quality, accessories, innovation, features, technology, customer service and warranty.. yet people only look at a spec sheet and price rather then understand VALUE. once a board comes out that has a 12s setup WITH a flex deck setup and has more features, then i can MAYBE call it “overpriced”… in the meantime, its a fantastic board.

I found that there wasn't much of a option but you can't go wrong with the price for a pair of these.

I managed to get the belt tension correct this time. (after all the issues i had/have with my abec 38t tension) rear wheels spin freely and there's no belt slippage.

Using them with TorqueBoards 110mm wheels and they're beasts :)

I would give 5 stars but theres still the issue of too much initial bite while braking when going top speed. I have to remote set to 38t (this happens with my 107 abecs too) but im guessing that adjusts the speedometer and not the braking curve . Its like the motor controller isn't taking into account the extra braking power of 38T as it needs to be way less abrupt than that

These gears are great. I did thousands of kms on my first set before needing to replace them.

I would have given 5 stars but oddly my gears did not come with bearings in them, so now I have to order bearings separately. I could have sworn the last time I ordered gears they came with bearings not to sure why these did not but other than that great gears

The strength of these gears is amazing, I have put them under a lot with the slides and carves I do at speed and they have yet to fail me, great idea to keep a couple spares in the kit too 👌🤙

I find myself going through gears and belts a lot faster with my Haedean. To be expected with the extra power though.

Arrived quick, I combine these with my 107mm abec 11 on a Bamboo GTR, smooth as. The 38t gears with 004 belts increase the acceleration which make it feel like the board does not have to work at all. I had an issue and the service was quick to respond and fix my situation so I could ride.

I am very grateful that evolve replaced a gear drive that I had broken since the teeth were way too tight. But why is there no consistency with these gears? The replacement I got is wider that the gears I got, it will still work but very odd they are not all the same size.
