Evolve 97mm Street Wheels

So, this Gen1 Stoke I just purchased marks my TENTH Evolve board. Yep, I'm an addict. Got the 97mm ice orange along with Gold Supercarve 2 trucks to do a "Gold Edition" upgrade to the Stoke.

Not super easy (requires some cutting/fabrication of the motor plates), but an AWESOME upgrade. Besides looking amazing, this upgrade has transformed the Stoke 1 from a darty, nervous, and frankly somewhat-unsafe feeling ride to a planted, stable, and confidence-inspiring ride. Night and day difference - besides looking absolutely awesome.

Wheels are fairly soft and compliant being 76A, grip great, and are big enough to roll comfortably over pavement imperfections. The only wheels I like slightly more are my 105mm Dad Bods. But these are great. And at the sale price I snagged them for, an absolute bargain. Highly recommended.

I originally bought these wheels at the Evolve store because I thought they looked cool… Little did I know when I put them on? They actually worked quite well on parking lots… I’m just beginning in the world of skateboarding so I have a lot to learn, but I did notice that these wheels have some give for a little bit of slide if you want to slide your carves… I’m not good enough to do that yet, but I’m getting there… Besides that I like all the colors… I own the yellow and white ones :)

Party tires wanted something different. Try something there was using 105 not much of a size difference to go down to, but I thought the ride was a lot better great through his entire heats up all the bumps using all my carbon board gear drive love these tires. My only thoughts are they should make some Keagle tires Instead of all Abec I have another deer dry board that I only have Keagle adapters for. Would love to try it on that but great tire would recommend have about hundred miles on them no issues.
